Grant eligibility:
You are a woman 12 yrs old or older
You are an entrepreneur (or have an idea for a business that you are ready to start now)
You are located in Canada
You are ready to take a chance on yourself and your idea and could use some help!
You can commit fully to the requirements of a 3-month mentoring program
Footprints Grant
Grants up to $10,000.00
She the Future is championing women entrepreneurs across Canada, with our Footprints Grant. A grant that was created to support the industrious, the determined... the ones who refuse to quit.
Each Footprints Grant recipient, along with this financial support, receives a 2 year Premium Membership to She the Mighty - the revenue generating social space for female entrepreneurs.
Grant eligibility
You are a woman 21 yrs old or older
You are an entrepreneur (or have an idea for a business that you are ready to start now)
You are located in Canada
You can commit fully to the requirements of a 6-month mentoring program
Mighty Grant
Grants up to $25,000.00
She the Future is elevating women entrepreneurs across Canada, with our Mighty Grant. A grant that was created to change the future...
Each Mighty Grant recipient, along with this financial support, receives a lifetime Premium Membership to She the Mighty - the revenue generating social space for female entrepreneurs.
Grant eligibility
You are a woman entrepreneur, 25 yrs old or older with at least 51% ownership of a registered business, non-profit or social enterprise
You have a minimum annual revenue of $50,000
Your business is located in Canada
You can commit fully to the requirements of a 12-month mentoring program
Application Process
Step One
Applicants must submit an application form and a short video with details about their business. Questions about the application process?, email us at grants@shethefuture.com
Step Two
The selection process. Our team at She the Future reviews the applications and videos and selects the next approved grant recipients.
Step Three
We contact each winner directly to congratulate her on her grant approval. Mentors are connected, She the Mighty access is granted and funds are transferred.

What should be in my submission video?
In your video submission, show us your passion! Why do you do what you do? What's your mission? How does your business (or how will your idea) make a difference?
We encourage you to focus on the most important aspects of your business (or idea) to make a strong impression. Sell us on you!! It's important to include:
- What your business does, and what makes it different or needed in the market.
- How your business stands out and what benefits it brings to your target audience.
- Your mission and vision for the future and the goals you plan to achieve through this venture. (Special attention paid if you have a pay-it-forward offering of some sort to other female entrepreneurs!)
How do I make my application stand out and improve my chances?
1. Make your answers direct, powerful and clear. Highlight the problem your business solves, your unique solution, and why you're the right choice to implement it.
2. Prior to submitting your application, carefully check and ensure that you meet all the eligibility requirements.
3. Ensure to outline SPECIFICALLY how you'll use the grant money in your application. This detail is crucial to demonstrate the strategy you have in place to achieve success.
4. Practice your pitch! Rehearse your video, practice pitch with someone to help you deliver your message with the enthusiasm and clarity you'd like us to have, to give you the best shot at success!
When can I expect to find out if I've been selected?
The first She the Future Grant recipients will be notified by December 2024. All submissions are held onto and considered for a term of 6 months after submission. You may resubmit another application 6 months following the date of your previous submission. We wish you the best of luck!

Our grants are open to women 12 years old and older who are looking for help to get started and succeed. Getting financial support for your business can be the gift you need to invest in tools, software, product development, marketing or hiring help for your team!
Mentoring & support
We connect you with a 1:1 Mentor through our partner She the Mighty. You receive personalized guidance from an experienced mentor who will provide valuable insights, business training, advice and customized support for your specific business needs.
Community & training
Your gift membership to She the Mighty gains you access to a powerful and empowering community of women entrepreneurs. With 165+ business classes, live weekly group sessions, an ongoing sales school and practice pitching sessions, your potential for growth is unlimited.
